MaisonDuTemps was born from a simple conviction: the price of a beautiful watch is not the movement; it's the logo. We decided to change that. Watches that catch the eye, mechanisms that deserve their reputation, service worthy of 2026. Without compromising on what really matters.

The story of MaisonDuTemps is above all that of Hugo Delaleu, a watchmaking enthusiast who wanted to put his expertise at the service of others.

Before founding the brand, Hugo forged his know-how in the most beautiful luxury watchmaking boutiques in Paris. Sales, customer relations, after-sales service, in-depth knowledge of movements, he learned every facet of the profession from the best companies. It was there that he understood a reality that the industry prefers to keep quiet: what is expensive in a watch is not the movement. It's the logo.

This belief changed everything.

In 2021, Hugo launches MaisonDuTemps. Alone, without investors, without stores. The idea is simple: to allow all watch enthusiasts, whatever their budget, to have access to watches that truly make you dream. Skeletons, automatics, chronographs with an assertive style, carried by reliable mechanisms and selected by someone who knows exactly what he is choosing.

Today, thousands of people carry an MDT. Passionate people who wanted something real, without paying for the name of a big house. The story of MaisonDuTemps is theirs too, and it is only just beginning.

TO DATE

New models, refined purchasing experience, prices negotiated as accurately as possible thanks to a direct and demanding relationship with our suppliers. Every decision, every reference, every improvement comes from the same place: to please watch enthusiasts, whatever their budget. That was the motivation for the first day. It's still the one today.

EVENTS

The brand makes its debut at French and European watch fairs and establishes itself for the first time among professionals in the sector. A step that says it all: MDT is no longer just a digital brand. It is an established watchmaking house, recognized by its peers, and determined to become a reference in accessible watchmaking in Europe.

STORES

For the first time, MaisonDuTemps is setting up in physical points of sale across France. A concrete, tangible presence that allows customers to discover watches other than through a screen. To hold them, to wear them, to feel them. A turning point for the brand, which confirms its anchoring in the French watchmaking landscape and its desire to reach all enthusiasts, wherever they are.

FIRST SALES

MaisonDuTemps exists. And from the beginning, sales confirmed what Hugo had anticipated: there was indeed a market, and a real expectation. All that remains now is to expand the range, refine the customer experience, structure the logistics, and surround yourself with a team as passionate as they are determined to make MDT a brand that counts.

WATCHMAKER

It is there, behind the workbench, that the obvious becomes clear: the market is sorely lacking in accessible and well-built automatic skeleton watches. Beautiful pieces exist, but they remain out of reach. Affordable alternatives do not compare. Between the two, a void. Hugo decides to fill it.
