A chronograph is more than a function. It's a statement. Three counters on a dial, side pushers, readability down to the smallest detail: the chronograph is the most worn watch complication in the world, and the most elegant when well executed. At MaisonDuTemps, our men's chronograph watch, the MT Gamma model, does not seek to imitate the big houses. She takes inspiration from it to offer something else: an urban and modern style, clear dials, white, cream, silver, which play the card of elegance rather than ostentation. Fine hands, neat indexes, breathable dial: the MT Gamma is a watch that can be worn in meetings or on weekends, on a shirt or on a turtleneck. And at €185, it stands a serious comparison with models sold two to three times more expensive.
Our chronograph collection is available in two motorizations, each with its own convictions. The quartz chronograph offers absolute precision and maintenance-free reliability, it is the everyday choice, for those who want a watch that asks nothing of them. The automatic chronograph features a Miyota movement, a Japanese manufacturer recognized for the quality and longevity of its calibers. It is the choice of the enthusiast who wants to feel the watchmaking come to life on his wrist, needle by needle. Neither is the wrong choice. It all depends on what you want from a watch.
Stainless steel case, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, fitted bezel, metal or silicone bracelet: the MT Gamma is built with the materials and finishes usually found on watches well above its price. Appreciated by both men and women in search of sober and contemporary elegance, it adapts to wrists and styles, without ever losing its character. The stock is renewed regularly to guarantee its continuous availability.
Designed in France, equipped with Miyota movements renowned for their precision and reliability, our men's chronograph watches are shipped free of charge, with no minimum purchase, in a neat box. More than 1,000 customers have already trusted Maison du Temps, with a Trustpilot rating of 4.8/5, they are the best ambassadors of what we build.
The 60s and 70s represent the golden age ofvintage chronographs. These timepieces tell the story of an era when design met mechanical excellence. Historic pieces fascinate with their patinated dials and perfectly proportioned cases. Our flagship models are not to be outdone and represent French elegance.
Fans particularly appreciate the patinated steel cases, the curved plexi glasses and the warm-tinted dials that characterize this unique period of watchmaking.
Operating a chronograph is learned quickly thanks to its intuitive controls. THEupper pusherStarts and stops timing with a single click, while the bottom button resets the counters.
To measure a split time during a car race, press the upper pusher at the start, then a second time at the finish. The large central hand will precisely indicate the elapsed seconds, while theauxiliary countersrecord minutes and hours.
A practical tip: wait until the seconds hand reaches twelve before starting your timing. This technique guarantees a more precise reading of the measured time, particularly useful during sports competitions.
